Privacy Policy
Sutda · A Screwcap Games, LLC property · Updated 25 August 2026
This explains what Sutda collects, every outside tool it lets near you, and how to make any of it stop. It sits alongside the Screwcap Games master policy: where this page is more specific it governs for Sutda, and where it is silent the master policy applies. If you find somewhere the two contradict each other, tell us and we will fix the document rather than argue about it.
Every third-party tool, named
This is the section most policies are vague about, so here is ours in full. If something is running on this site, it is in this list.
G-V38MHG6C56) — Measures at the level of an individual browser and sets its own cookies to do it. This is the one people mean when they say “tracking”. Opt out at Google’s Ad Settings or with any content blocker.1948331522667884) — An advertising tracker. Its only job is telling us whether an ad we paid for actually sent anyone here. It sets its own cookies under Meta’s policy, not ours — ad preferences.ca-pub-2067975098656294) — Serves the ads on the free tier and may personalise them under Google’s policies, not ours. Units appear on menus, between-hand results and end screens — never during a live hand and never over the table. Buying the ad-free unlock removes them and every cookie they set.The tools that set cookies or measure you as an individual browser, so you can find them without reading the whole list: Google Analytics 4, Meta (Facebook) pixel, Google AdSense, Gumroad. Everything else above is either cookieless or lives on your own device.
This list is not fixed forever. As the studio grows we will add, swap and drop vendors. When that happens we update this page and the date at the top, so it always names what is actually running. What we will not do is quietly widen the word “analytics” to smuggle something new in behind it.
Paying means less of the above
The ads and the trackers are how a free game pays for itself. The ad-free unlock removes Google AdSense and every cookie it sets — fewer third-party scripts is also simply less to download, so the page gets lighter and faster.
That is the honest trade in both directions: the free tier is ad-supported and more heavily measured, and paying makes your session lighter and less tracked. The unlock is version-scoped and stored in your browser, so keep the receipt.
What we never do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not build or broker profiles of you as a product. We do not use your play to train AI models — the opponents in our games learned from self-play, not from you. We do not collect biometric data and we do not ask for your real name. There is no second, quieter business model behind this one.
Why we are allowed to
Where the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, our lawful bases are contract (giving you the game and any purchase you made), legitimate interests (basic security and aggregate analytics), consent (non-essential cookies and marketing, withdrawable whenever you like), and legal obligation (tax records for sales). We make no automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Where it goes, and for how long
We are a Wisconsin company and most of our vendors are American, so if you are outside the United States your data will be processed there; US law does not offer the same protections as UK or EU law, and where required our vendors rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent. Local game data lasts until you clear your browser. Purchase records last as long as tax law requires. Analytics are aggregate and rotate on each provider’s own schedule.
Your rights
Wherever you live you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or hand it over in a portable format. In the UK or EU you can also object, restrict, and withdraw consent. In California you have the CCPA and CPRA rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” — we do not sell your data, but the advertising cookies above can meet the CCPA’s broad definition of “sharing”, and the opt-out links above are how you switch that off.
Email play@screwcapholdings.com. We will not charge you, we will not demand ID theatre for a simple deletion, and we will not retaliate by degrading the game. UK and EU readers may complain to their supervisory authority, though we would rather you gave us the chance to fix it first.
Children
Sutda is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it. This game carries advertising and is better suited to a general adult audience regardless of what the law strictly requires.
Changes and contact
We will update this page as the game changes and the date at the top will move; material changes get a notice rather than a silent edit. Questions, requests or corrections: play@screwcapholdings.com. A real person reads it.
